When it is dark outside

I tell my kids we need ot go inside it is getting late. One of them says "I don't want to " I say "its getting dark and the animals need to come out and eat dinner." If we are outside they will be too scared to come out to eat and they will be hungry. She says "ok, is it bunnies that need to eat their dinner?" I say ok lets just go inside.

Sometimes as parents you have to be quick on your feet to come up with something good that the kids will believe, this time it worked out for me.
